The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) is the largest international police organization, with 192 member countries. His work focuses on public safety, terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking, arms trafficking, human trafficking, money laundering, child pornography, economic crimes and corruption.
INTERPOL issues Notifications, which are disseminated to member countries. Among them, the Red Notifications are alerts issued by the Secretary General of the Organization at the request of one of the member countries, which indicates that the country seeks the provisional arrest of an individual with a view to his extradition. Therefore, a red notification can have a serious impact on the freedom, reputation and assets of an individual.
